TOM BARRETT - Life is merry, life is free; Life is made happy for men like me.

50th Reunion Commentary: Immediately after graduation (Oct) I left for Japan to do my two years active duty with the Navy.  When I returned I married a wonderful person, Jan Grandon, who was a graduate of Cleveland High School.  Three month after we were married I was recalled into the Navy for another year.  Jan and I have four children the oldest is 44 and the youngest is 37, three boys and a girl.  We also have eight grandchildren the oldest is 21 and the youngest is 8.  Three boys and 5 girls.  After the Navy I worked in construction for a few years and then I became a fire fighter and spent 37 years in the fire service.  The last 34 years was at SEA TAC Airport, Port of Seattle Fire Department.  I started as a Fire Fighter in 1966 and retired as the Fire Chief in 2000.  We are active in our church, spend time at our cabin in Cle Elum, involved with our grandchildren, like to travel and be together.  bartomjan@comcast.net
