We have no children together, but share four children, 10 grandchildren and four great grandkids, from my first husband, Bill Schlegel. We lost Kurt, one of the boys to a car accident in 2002 and that has left a big void in our lives. Jerry and I have been blessed with Kurt's two girls (dogs). We spoil them, but they keep us busy. I worked with Mt. Rainier NP for five years as a Park Ranger. I then worked for an insurance company in Chehalis, and retired last March. I have been busy with the Washington Trails Assoc., maintaining trails in Washingtons SW area., Gifford Pinchot NF and Mt. St. Helens area. I also do hiking, backpacking, and bicycling with Jerry. |
