50th Reunion Commentary: Retired from fire service ‘89. Twenty two years as a volunteer at Burien, five years as a volunteer at Duwamish, 22 years paid fireman at Duwamish/Tukwila. Moved to Cocolalla , ID. in 1994, commuted until ‘97. Drove charter bus for Puget Sound Coach Lines, 1989-1997. Retirement is too busy. It seems I had more free time before I retired. We are ‘Snowbirds”, in the winter.
Annual: “His only flame is the fire department ”.
Rebuttal: “The fire Dep't flame is now a flicker, Linda is still a veritable inferno in my life.”

50th Reunion Commentary:: Married twice. One son with first husband. Married second husband Archie in 1962, had son and daughter. Lost oldest son in 1977. Lost husband to cancer in 1978. Had an antique shop called, Blackberry Patch Antiques, located in the Sea Tac area, then Pioneer Square, and finally in La Connor. Antiques more hobby than business. Faced with raising teenage kids, I started a Building Maintenance business with my son, now operating for 24 years. Worked for Boeing briefly before marriage, went back 15 years ago and still there. Four grandchildren keep me occupied with sports, activities and as a taxi. My hobbies include bowling, gardening, sewing, and traveling.

50th Reunion Commentary: Graduated from the U of W with a degree in electrical engineering and attended law school for a while after. Worked at the Patent Office long enough to realize that I didn't want to be an attorney. Worked at Boeing until retirement in 1997. Retired as chief systems engineer from the Everett Plant. Moved to Camano Island in 1994. Hobbies include Ham radio and volunteer work for a service organization associated with the parks here on the Island . I also enjoy road trips. Judy and I have two children, neither of which is married, and no grandchildren.

50th Reunion Commentary: I have been married to Wally for 49 yrs. We have 2 children and 4 grandchildren. We've lived in Lewis County 35 years, and part of the time on a hay, cattle and sheep farm. Lambing was my favorite. I worked as a LPN a few years. Enjoyed 4 trips to Akaka with our trailer. We stayed right on the Kenai River with friends. Did a lot of salmon fishing, smoking and canning them. I enjoy family, friends, travel, camping, fishing, gardening, playing cards and volunteering at a gift shop and going to Curves for exercise. Looking foreword to this evening of memories.
Annual: “A foot more light, a step more true, the halls of Highline never knew ”.
Rebuttal: “Oh, to be light of foot again.”.

50th Reunion Commentary: Married 46 years to Harley. We have one son, one daughter and six grandchildren. I love being a grandma, and enjoy them all. Since we loved Hawaii , we traveled to the Islands many times and also spend time cruising in other parts of the world. I then returned to college and studied Graphic Arts, and became a computer nut. Spending 26 years as a Radiological Technologist, specializing in Mammography for the last 5 years, I retired in 1994. We now reside on Phillips Lake in Shelton , and are busy working in our church as Ushers, and leaders for the Retired members functions and outings.

50th Reunion Commentary: My wife, Nilah and I have been married 42 years and have a large family; six children, 18 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. We are both fairly healthy, except for my bad knees from playing baseball and softball for a lot of years. I drove truck for the United Parcel Service for 19 years and at other trucking companies for another 14 years. I also worked at Camp Waskowitz for the Highline School District as a caretaker and maintenance person for eight years and finally retired two years ago.
