Callie A. Stivers (Templin/Cribbs/Molvar)
HHS class of 1981
March 30, 1963 - December 24, 2007

Our dear friend, Callie Templin (Cribbs), left us to go to God on Christmas Eve morning, two and a half months after her diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. Callie worked for Saint Luke Productions for twelve years, and many of you knew and loved her. Thank you so much for the outpouring of letters, prayers and gifts for Callie - we're passing all of them along to her children. Alex (10), Zach (7) and Isabella (5) are doing fine, missing their mom, but living in the loving home of their dad and his wife. God has been so good to them. Please pray for Callie, who loved God very much.

.........
.........The 1954 Version

Thanks Bill for your letter with the information for our class reunion in July of 2009. I am not too sure when I will be visiting Seattle this next year. My plans have not, as yet, been firmed up.

I was sad to hear of Dick Dahlgard's death. His passing is such a loss not only to his family but to the friends who loved him and the community he served. I'm sure you, who counted him as a close friend, are especially grieved. However, Dick's life is a cause for celebration of a life well lived. He lives on in the hearts of those who love him.

Again, my thanks to you Bill for all your efforts on behalf of the Class of 1954.

A Letter Concerning Dick Dahlgard

Dear Bill-

To write about Dick Dahlgard at a time like this brings backs thoughts as if Dick was a close family member. We can't pick our relitives but we can pick our friends. Dick was a good special friend, of course photography was our common link. On page 73 of the 1954Pirates Log is a picture of Dick and me. Other pictures in the log show show Dick and I together. His Senior picture says it all; "The flash of his smile was comparable to the flash of his camera."

Page 73

Over the years Dick stayed in toucbh with me. He kept me up to date about the Highline Class of 1954. He became a dealer of Eastman Kodak; I became a rep for Kodak, that common link also kept us in touch.

The Class of 1954 sent many leaders out into the world. Dick was an outstanding leader for his class and for his community, His community service truly was who he was.

He will be remembered by many, especially me.

I hope to be at the 55th Class Reunion dedicated to a very Special man- Richard Dahlgard. I will miss him.

Thank you Bill. for your service and duties to our class, during this painfull time.

In my heart felt sympathy,

Chuck Stutz.

P.S. Tell his children I will miss their Dad.
